Q - What are your trading hours specifically over Christmas?

A - Here is a shortened version of the trading hours around Christmas Day.

  • Saturday & Sunday 20th & 21st DEC - OPEN 9am-4pm
  • Monday 22nd Dec - OPEN 9am-5:30pm
  • Tuesday 23rd Dec - OPEN 8am-5:30pm
  • Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24th) - OPEN 5am-5pm
  • Christmas Day (Thursday 25th) - CLOSED
  • Boxing Day (Friday 26th) - OPEN 10am-4pm

Q - Do you take Christmas orders?

A - We only take orders for our three set Christmas seafood packages, but don’t worry - there’s no need to stress! Keep reading to see how easy it is to secure your festive seafood and enjoy a hassle-free Christmas feast.

Preston Fresh Festive Season Packages

Seafood package details for $150 including oysters, tiger prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, smoked salmon, salmon dip, and cocktail sauce, packed frozen in a foam box.

Q - I would like a seafood feast for Christmas. What do I do?

A - We are currently and will continue to be fully stocked with seafood for Christmas. Our industrial-sized freezers are filled to the brim, so you’ll always find plenty of your favourite snap frozen seafood. The best advice though is to beat the rush and come in early to stock up and save time. Please keep reading.

Q - How can I save time during the festive season?

A - Beat the Christmas rush by visiting us early in store and stocking up on your seafood!

  • We have an extensive selection of snap-frozen favourites - prawns, bugs, lobsters, scallops, squid, octopus, and fish - all ready to go.
  • Simply store your seafood in the freezer, then move it to the fridge the day before you plan to enjoy it for a perfect slow defrost.

Q - What are my options for purchasing your seafood if I’m not after a package?

Option 1 – Stock up early in December 🔥 Highly Recommended 🔥

  • The first couple of weeks are usually quieter - perfect for getting in early!
  • Pick up all of your snap frozen seafood and store it in your freezer. Then, simply put it in the fridge the day before you’d like to eat it (slow defrost is always best).
  • If you require further seafood that must be purchased fresh on the 23rd or 24th (fresh fish, fresh oysters, live mud crabs, live mussels), you can simply come in for these products on those days.

Option 2 – Embrace the Christmas rush

  • If you love the festive buzz, you can do all your seafood shopping on the 23rd or 24th of December. Please keep in mind that these are two of the busiest days of the year so it will be extremely busy.
  • So please keep in mind “Option 1” if you’re after “snap frozen seafood” - prawns, bugs, lobsters, scallops, squid, octopus... it will save you hours.

A - Sorry, our 2025 Package orders closed on December 17th.

A - Pre order our packages online from November 10th until December 17th.

Q - Please tell me about your Christmas Seafood Packages

A - We have three set Christmas seafood packages, ranging from $150 to $650. Please note that these packages are fixed and cannot be altered or substituted. Our Christmas packages are packed with premium frozen seafood. For best results, simply transfer the frozen seafood to the fridge the day before you plan to enjoy it - it’s that easy!

How to order:

  • Orders can be placed online via our website from 10th November to 17th December
  • Pick-up is available in designated time slots from Thursday the 18th December to Wednesday the 24th of December.
  • Full payment is required at the time of ordering to ensure a smooth and speedy pick-up experience.
  • Pickup in store from Thursday the 18th December to Wednesday the 24th of December.
    There will be a large queue of customers.
    ‍    If you’ve pre-ordered a package, you can skip the line simply walk straight to the retail shop entrance and show your package order receipt to the security. You’ll then be allowed to enter.
  • Package collection is located between the live mud crab tank and the fish fillet & whole fish fridge.
  • Make your Christmas seafood shopping easy - secure your package early and enjoy stress-free festive celebrations!

A - When you order your package online via our website, you’ll see the following pick up times.

Important notes -

  • Packages to be paid in full upon order.
  • Please note, no items in the packages can be substituted.
  • All packages will be packed with sensational snap frozen seafood.
    Simply place your seafood in the fridge the day before you’d like to eat it and it will slowly defrost.
